AryOLingo: a safe English-learning adventure for children 5 to 12

AryOLingo is an English-learning game for children aged 5 to 12. Children play short word adventures, look after a pet and earn rewards, while a parent sees the progress. It is free to start, has no ads and no analytics, and has no way for a child to talk to a stranger.

The short version

  • What it is: a family English-learning game with word games, stories, pets, chess lessons, geography, music and art.
  • Who it is for: children about 5 to 12, with a separate area for parents.
  • Where to use it: in any modern web browser at aryolingo.expo.app (free). The Android app is in Google Play closed testing and not public yet. An iPhone and iPad app is planned for later.
  • Cost: free to start. Optional paid plans for extra sections are not on sale yet.
  • Safety: no ads, no analytics, no sale of data, a parent creates the account and gives consent, and a Parent PIN guards settings and purchases.
  • Languages: the app screens are in English, Turkish and Spanish. Children learn English today.

What children do in AryOLingo

Every day children get a short adventure of games. They spin a Word Wheel to get a topic and write English words, hunt for hidden pictures, run and spell words, match words with pictures, and try little lessons in maths and logic. They earn points and coins, dress their own character, decorate a room and look after a pet.

What parents get

  • A parent-only area behind a gate (a Parent PIN of 4 to 6 digits).
  • A progress view of what the child practised, and notifications about progress if you want them.
  • Switches for the league, voice notes, AI word checking and pronunciation practice. The last three are off until a parent turns them on.
  • One tap in the app to delete a child or the whole account, any time.
