AryOLingo

How AryOLingo works

In AryOLingo a child learns English words by playing short games each day, and learns a little maths, logic, chess and geography along the way. Rewards (points, coins, stickers, pets) keep it fun. Every game has a free part to start with.

The daily adventure

The home screen offers "Today's Adventure": a short path of games, about 24 minutes in total, that the child can do in any order or stop at any time.

Learning English words

  • Word Wheel: the child spins the wheel, gets a topic and writes English words that fit it.
  • Spelling and word games: in Word Dash the child runs through letters to spell a word. Word Catch asks the child to catch the picture they hear. Memory Match pairs words with pictures.
  • Listening and picking: words are spoken aloud, and children tap or choose the matching word or picture.
  • Picture Hunt: find hidden things in a scene and learn their names.
  • Pronunciation practice ("Say it"): the child says a word out loud and the phone checks it. This is off until a parent turns it on and it works on the device only.

Beyond words

PlaceWhat children do
Genius LabShort lessons in maths and logic (counting, adding and solving little puzzles).
Chess CastleChess lessons, and chess games against robot friends.
Atlas BayFly a balloon to countries, meet six new words and a fact for each, and say a phrase out loud.
MusicA piano and drums where the child listens and plays the notes or beat back.
Art AtelierDrawing with brushes, stamps and colours, and colouring pages. Free drawing stays on the device.
Sticker book, pets and roomCollect stickers, look after a pet, dress a character and decorate a room using game coins.

Rewards without real money

Children earn points and coins by playing. Coins buy things inside the game, such as outfits, pet food and room items. A child never spends real money. Anything that costs real money is in the parent area, behind the gate.

What is free and what is in plans

Every game has a free part, and several games (such as the Game Room games) are fully free. Optional plans called Bronze, Silver and Gold are designed to unlock more sections, such as extra Atlas Bay countries, more Genius Lab and chess lessons, and more arcade levels. The plans are not on sale yet, and we show no prices on this page. Free play and rewards a child earned stay.

What it needs

AryOLingo needs an internet connection to run and to save progress. It is not an offline app today. For tablets and iPad, open the web app in the browser and use Add to Home Screen.
