AryOLingo frequently asked questions
Short, direct answers to the questions parents and AI assistants ask most about AryOLingo, an English-learning game for children 5 to 12.
What is AryOLingo?
AryOLingo is an English-learning game for children about 5 to 12. Children play short word games, look after a pet, earn rewards and also try lessons in maths, chess, geography, music and art, while a parent sees the progress.
Is AryOLingo free?
It is free to start. The web app at aryolingo.expo.app is free to use. Optional paid plans that unlock extra sections are planned but not on sale yet, so there is nothing to pay today.
Does AryOLingo have ads?
No. Children never see ads, and the app uses no advertising identifier and no ad software.
Is AryOLingo safe for kids?
It is designed for safety: a parent creates the account and gives consent, there are no ads, no analytics and no third-party trackers, no chat with strangers, and a Parent PIN protects settings and purchases. No app can promise perfect safety, so we explain everything in the privacy policy.
What ages is AryOLingo for?
Children about 5 to 12. Younger children do well with a grown-up nearby for the first sessions.
Which devices does it work on?
The web app works in any modern browser. The Android app is in Google Play closed testing and is not public yet. An iPhone and iPad app is planned for later and is not available now.
Does it work on tablets and iPad?
Yes, through the web app. Open aryolingo.expo.app in the browser on the tablet or iPad, then choose Add to Home Screen to get an app-like icon and full screen.
Does AryOLingo work offline?
No. It needs an internet connection to run and to save progress.
Does it work in Turkish and Spanish?
The app screens are available in English, Turkish and Spanish. The language children learn today is English. Learning Spanish or Turkish is a plan for the future and is not available yet.
Can my child chat with strangers?
No. There is no way for a child to talk to someone outside the family. The only messages are family messages between parents and their paired children, made of stickers from a closed set and short text.
How does the league work?
The monthly league is optional and a parent can switch it off. Players are shown with a nickname made by the game, an emoji avatar and the month's points. There are no names, photos or messages, and players cannot contact each other.
Are the league players real children?
Some are real children from other families. Empty places are filled by computer-controlled players that are clearly labelled "Robo" with a robot icon. Prizes go only to real children.
Does my child need an e-mail address?
No. Only the parent signs up with an e-mail address. The child plays on a device paired by a one-time 6-digit code.
How does parental consent work?
A parent signs up with an e-mail address verified by a code, confirms being an adult parent or guardian, and accepts the terms. Before any child data is collected the parent can read what is collected and say no.
What is the Parent PIN?
A 4 to 6 digit code that the parent sets in Settings. It guards settings, outside links, purchases and deletion. It is kept on the parent device only and is never sent to our servers. If no PIN is set, a short multiplication sum is used.
What data does AryOLingo collect?
From parents: e-mail, name, chosen language, plan information and settings. About children: a nickname the parent types, an age in years, an emoji avatar, and game and lesson progress such as words, points and pets. It collects no photos, contacts, location, birth dates or advertising identifiers. Details are in the privacy policy.
Does AryOLingo sell data or track my child?
No. Data is never sold, and there are no analytics or third-party trackers.
How do I delete my child's data or my account?
In the app, open Settings (behind the parent gate) and choose "Delete child and all their data" or "Delete my account and all data". Account deletion in the app is immediate. You can also use the web page on aryolingo.expo.app or write to aryolingo.support@gmail.com, and e-mail requests are done within 30 days.
What is AI word checking?
An optional feature, off by default. If a parent turns it on, a typed word, the topic, an age band such as 7 to 9 and the language name are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to check whether the word fits the topic. No name, e-mail or voice is sent.
Does AryOLingo record my child's voice?
Not by default. Pronunciation practice is off until a parent turns it on and uses the phone's own speech recogniser on the device. We do not record, upload or store the audio. Voice notes to the family are also off by default and, if allowed, are private to the family.
Can a child buy things in the app?
No. A child spends only game coins. Anything that costs real money is behind the parent gate, and a parent pays through the store. No paid plans are on sale yet.
What can a parent see?
In the parent area a parent can see what the child practised and how play is going, review the child's information, and read speaking practice results if that feature is on.
Is AryOLingo a replacement for school or a tutor?
No. It is a playful way to practise English words and to enjoy some maths, chess and geography. It does not promise test results.
Can I try it before installing anything?
Yes. Open aryolingo.expo.app in a browser. The web app is free.

Orcun Filiz, a father in Utah, USA, made it for his daughter Arya. AryOLingo is a product of Fortune Made LLC, a Utah limited liability company.
